About the Role
We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Treleigh CP School, working in a Key Stage 2 class. This role involves supporting all pupils, including those with SEND needs, in collaboration with the class teacher, parents, and wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
* Support learning activities across the curriculum.
* Assist pupils with additional needs, particularly those with autism and/or moderate learning difficulties.
* Run daily small group work and learning interventions as and when required.
* Carry out general class-based support tasks under the direction of the teacher.
* Support the social and emotional development of pupils.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Experience of working with children with autism and/or moderate learning difficulties.
* Good written and spoken literacy.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to changing needs.
* A positive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* High expectations for children's achievement.
* Energetic, motivated, and with a good sense of humour.
