So, more about our Finance Assistant role…
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting accurate and timely month-end reporting through balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and assisting with the production of management accounts. You’ll also be involved in analysing sales and margin data and supporting wider finance processes, including accounts receivable and finance system testing.
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, IT, and Retail, you’ll help drive improved controls, efficiency, and accuracy in reporting. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (or have strong relevant experience), with a solid grasp of double-entry accounting and reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is also required.
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality reconciliations and providing explanations for any balance sheet variances. You’ll also contribute to process improvements across the team and support finance project work where needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their finance career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What we are looking for in a candidate…
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong Excel experience
* Good communication skills
* Previous experience in reconciliations
* Strong understanding of double entry accounting
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations proficient
