Location: Norwich, CT - 108 Salem Tpk
Purpose/Objective:
Assists the Financial Center Manager with growing the Bank by managing customer relationships, directing branch operations, supervising team members and ensuring that the entire team consistently provides excellent customer service.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Customer Service & Sales: Educates clients on our products and services offered in the branches and digitally. Initiates, processes, and closes various loans, including Consumer, Home Equities, and Small Business. Manages client relationships using tools like the Relationship Builder and Salesforce. Refers clients to partnership solutions such as Wealth, Insurance, Cash Management, and Mortgage. Leads lobby management, ensures prompt assistance, and thanks clients for their business. Resolves routine and complex client issues. Assists clients with digital banking adoption. Ensures proper documentation and compliance for all accounts. (35%)
2. Branch Sales & Leadership: Supports the Financial Center Manager in building a sales culture to achieve branch and bank-wide goals. Coaches, develops, and trains staff. Monitors client experience quality and branch standards. Communicates policies, programs, and objectives. Leads staff meetings and huddles. Maintains awareness of banking regulations and branch security. Reviews legal documents when necessary. Keeps up-to-date with new products and promotes them. (35%)
3. Operations Management: Assists in daily branch operations, including opening and closing, security adherence, and providing backup support. Handles client transactions and exceptions. Maintains branch appearance and supplies. Reviews reports and may oversee audits. (20%)
4. Personnel & Compliance: Participates in staff performance management, including recommending adjustments and resolving personnel issues. Assists in hiring and scheduling. Ensures compliance with banking laws and policies. (10%)
Must be eligible for registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry for SAFE Act purposes. Availability for Saturday hours and travel to nearby offices is required.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 3-5 years of branch banking experience
* Proven decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and supervise effectively
