ROLE OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE
To lead the packing team to ensure the smooth running of the Enfield packing and labelling lines in a non halal meat company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Co-ordinate daily packing and labelling activities.
2. To maintain the highest standards of finished product packed presentation in line with agreed specifications.
3. Coordinate the completion of end of line costings once batch production is complete.
4. To ensure continuous availability of packing materials.
5. Working with the maintenance department, ensure machine maintenance & breakdowns are efficiently managed to keep packing lines operational.
6. To carry out technical checks and tasks in all areas of the production including temperature, specification, weight, traceability, calibration and cleaning.
7. Cover Production Supervisor duties for holiday periods.
8. Train and development team members.
9. To develop own knowledge and skills.
10. Understanding of People policies and procedures.

8am-6pm (subject to change). Monday-Friday
Pay :
19. £14.63 p/h
20. Paid weekly
