Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team on a full-time basis.
Candidates preferably based in or around CB6 and CB7 are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being throughout the night. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting service users with personal care, maintaining their independence, safety, and enhancing their quality of life.

Main Responsibilities
* Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
* Monitor and assist service users, ensuring safety, comfort, and reassurance.
* Communicate effectively with service users to understand their needs and preferences.
* Maintain accurate records of observation notes, care plans, and service user progress.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Engage service users in conversations and activities that support emotional well-being.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care.
* Support the service user with household responsibilities, as required.
* Safely manage and record medication as per procedures.
Person Specifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records and communication.
* A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, including alternate weekends, nights, evenings, and bank holidays.
* Ability to support individuals who may present challenges, responding calmly and effectively, and implementing clear boundaries when required.
* Enhanced DBS check with satisfactory clearance (required before start date).

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
