We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join an organisation undergoing significant change and transformation. This is a pivotal role supporting senior stakeholders and business units to deliver a people strategy aligned with organisational goals, while managing both strategic HR projects and business-as-usual partnering activities.Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with senior leaders across designated business units to develop and implement people strategies that support organisational objectives.
2. Lead and deliver HR projects related to change and transformation, including organisational design, workforce planning, and cultural initiatives.
3. Provide expert guidance on employee relations in a unionised environment, ensuring constructive engagement with trade unions.
4. Support change management processes, including consultation andmunication strategies.
5. Deliver BAU HR partnering activities, including performance management, talent development, and workforce planning.
6. Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to ensure consistency andpliance with policies and employment legislation.
Essential Experience
7. Proven track record as an HR Business Partner within aplex, unionised organisation
8. Strong experience in change and transformation projects, including organisational design and restructuring.
9. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
10. In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing employee relations in unionised settings.
11. Ability to balance strategic initiatives with operational HR delivery.
Desirable
12. CIPD qualified ideally Chartered Member CIPD
Offer
13. You will be engaged via Hays on an initial interim contract to start ASAP in November through to the end of March 2026.
14. On site – 3 days per week / 2 home in Dorset.
