O'Neill and Brennan are looking for an experienced Painter to join a team working on a site in Shrewsbury. This role requires a professional and detail-focused individual, capable of working in a clean and safety-sensitive environment. Work involves both internal and external painting as part of a refurbishment project. Must have own paint brushes and rollers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming
- Applying emulsion, gloss, undercoat, and specialist coatings as required
- Carrying out high-standard finishing work on walls, ceilings, woodwork, and trims
- Working cleanly and efficiently within a live or semi-live hospital environment
- Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Complying with site health and safety procedures, especially in clinical areas
- Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator on commercial sites
- Valid CSCS card
- Full PPE and own tools/brushes/rollers
- High attention to detail and ability to produce quality finish work
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful of working in sensitive environments
