Driver Hire Sheffield are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Drivers to work with an established client across South Yorkshire and throughout the UK. This role involves nights out and long-distance deliveries, offering potential ongoing work for the right candidate.
Commutable from: Sheffield, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Rotherham & Doncaster
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out nationwide Class 1 (C+E) deliveries and collections.
2. Complete all relevant digital paperwork and vehicle checks accurately – All within an app.
3. Provide excellent customer service and represent Driver Hire Sheffield and the client professionally.
Requirements:
4. Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (minimum of 2 years experience)
5. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
6. Maximum of 6 penalty points (for client insurance purposes)
7. Previous tramping or long-distance experience preferred but not essential.
8. Reliable, flexible, and professional with good communication skills.
