We are seeking to appoint an outstanding professional expert with a proven track record of success in fundraising to join us in the newly created role of Director of Foundation.
This is an exciting time to join us in our 175th-anniversary year, as the Director of Foundation, you will be at the helm of alumni relations and engagement, alumni events, communications, merchandise and services. Your strategic acumen will be crucial in raising funds for our bursarial endowment and capital projects, ensuring the sustained growth of the Hurst Foundation and the continued future success of Hurst. Additionally, you will provide oversight and leadership to our archives, preserving the rich history and legacy of Hurst.
Essential Experience, Skills, and Qualities:
Proven Success: An outstanding track record in alumni relations and fundraising, demonstrating your ability to secure substantial contributions.
Leadership Prowess: Ability to lead, direct, motivate, and inspire colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation, best practices, and high achievement.
Effective Communication: A persuasive, inspiring, and credible communicator with the knack for developing meaningful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Financial Acumen: High-level commercial and financial awareness to navigate the complex landscape of fundraising.
