Head of Facilities Waterlooville £53,000 PERMANENT I am seeking an experienced Head of Facilities to lead the operational management of a local College across multiple sites. This senior role oversees all aspects of hard and soft facilities management, drives sustainability initiatives, ensures health & safety compliance, and supports strategic property projects. With strong leadership, commercial insight, and a commitment to service excellence, the Head of Facilities will help create a safe, efficient, and future-ready environment for learning Key Responsibilities: * Manage facilities teams and services across multiple sites, including maintenance, security, contractors, and commercial lettings. * Develop and implement the College’s sustainability and environmental strategy. * Oversee Health & Safety policies and ensure compliance across all sites. * Support property strategy delivery, including capital projects and land disposals. * Maintain robust Business Continuity and Emergency Response procedures. Essential Skills & Experience: * Senior-level facilities/estates management experience in education. * Multi-site management experience. * Relevant degree (preferably Engineering) and/or Chartered Surveyor/CIWFM qualification. * NEBOSH or IOSH qualified (or willing to complete). * Knowledge of M&E maintenance, building project management, and capital planning. * Experience in Health & Safety management, risk management, and regulatory compliance. * Budget management and commercial income generation experience. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, and CAD software.
