Job Details
Job closes 29.05.2026. The position requires a National Insurance number and a DBS check. Wages are paid 4 weekly at £14.75 per hour. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday pro‑rata.
Work Location & Hours
Work is performed out in the community. Weekly hours amount to 5 hours, scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday (initially any of these days). Flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
* Take the individual for long walks.
* Play football with the individual.
* Visit leisure centres and other active locations.
* Assist with personal care and prompting as needed.
* Ensure continuous safety and support during activities.
Essential Qualities
* Trustworthy, reliable, honest.
* Patient, kind, good sense of humour.
* Enjoys being outdoors as well as indoors.
* Can respect confidentiality and build trust with the individual and family.
Desirable
* Experience working with autistic children.
* Enjoys outdoor activities.
Desired Profile
* Car driver preferable – must hold a Class 1 business use licence.
* Preferably male, but female applicants are welcome.
