Aftersales/Service Manager Staffline Ireland are recruiting for an Aftersales/Service Manager on behalf of a leading car dealer. The Aftersales/Service Manager will ensure all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team. You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to. You will ensure jobs, Private, Warranty and Sales Prep are all completed to the most cost efficient and competent standard. Responsibilities: Managing and coaching a team of vehicle Technicians and apprentices, liaising with the director/s or Management to ensure deadlines, targets and business objectives are met. Help diagnose faults with the Technicians. Making sure all servicing work is carried out correctly competently and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind. Working with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service for customers. Scheduling work to meet customer needs, taking into account workshop targets, the complexity of each job and the availability of parts. Providing estimates for servicing and repairs and setting timescales. Assisting Technicians with technical challenges and finding the right outcome. Check all paperwork and orders coming in from the workshop. Ensuring that all your working practices comply with Company, Health and Safety and Manufacturer policy. Assist with supervision of daily time keeping of Technicians and authorised absence to ensure a consistent level of attendance. Work with accounts department that all service customer invoices are paid. Ensure all paperwork is forwarded to accounts department with Vehicle Registration attached. Ensure all job cards are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Book MOTs as required. Any other duties role may involve. Person Specification: Previous aftersales or service experience in the automotive industry. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Excellent relationship-building, customer-facing, and negotiating skills. Proven track record in coaching and developing teams. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands. Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and Excel. Honest, respectful, with a strong sense of integrity. High levels of literacy and numeracy, including English and Math GCSE or equivalent, grade C or above. Full, valid, and clean UK Driving License.
