Hours: 6am-2pm Monday-Thursday & 6am-1pm Friday
NXT Recruitment is proud to be working with a local manufacturer looking to recruit a machine operator to join their skilled production team. This is a hands-on role working with specialist machinery to produce high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and monitor the machine
* Ensure all materials meet company quality and production standards
* Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
* Monitor thread and fabric usage, loading materials as needed
* Work collaboratively with the wider production team
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience operating machinery is highly desirable
* Good attention to detail and quality awareness
* Mechanically minded with the ability to spot and fix minor issues
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
