Position Summary The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of artists and designers within a supportive and collaborative environment. This role entails: Designing and delivering engaging Art and Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, in line with the national curriculum and school's educational objectives. Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development. Collaborating with colleagues within the Art and Design department and wider school community to enrich the curriculum and extracurricular offerings. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Art, Design, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level. A strong understanding of various artistic mediums, techniques, and historical contexts. Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
