What You’ll Be Doing
* Opening and leading a new residential children’s home from the ground up
* Building and managing a skilled, compassionate team
* Delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care for children with EBD
* Ensuring full compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted standards
* Managing budgets, staffing, training, and strategic planning
* Acting as a positive leader and mentor to both staff and young people
* Collaborating with local authorities, professionals, and families
? What You’ll Need
* 3+ years in a senior role within children’s residential care
* Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People’s Workforce
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
* Strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Children Act 1989, and safeguarding principles
* Budgeting, staff development, and leadership experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to take part in the on-call rota
