Role: Clinical Lead – Complexed Trauma Services (CTS) Salary/Benefits: up to £70,000 depending on the level of experience Hours: Full Time Location: Based across, Tamworth/Shrewsbury Cambian Group, the UK’s largest provider of specialist services in children’s residential care, education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated individual to join the company as a Clinical Practice Lead. The post will require someone with previous experience of working as a qualified psychologist or psychotherapist with children and young people in relevant settings such as CAMHS, residential care and/or trauma informed services. Job Role This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Lead for our Complex Trauma Service. This role will include providing clinical leadership, working alongside operational colleagues to support the ongoing delivery of trauma informed care. Your role will include delivering both direct and indirect support to children and young people. This will include conducting specialist assessments, report writing, delivering evidence-based interventions and designing and offering bespoke training packages for staff teams. In addition, you will be supporting the teams in our specialist services with clinically focused meetings, consultation and reflective practice. You will also be expected to lead, manage and supervise other members of the clinical team. Candidate Profile: To be successful within this role you will need to have experience in: Working with children and young people presenting with a range of clinical need across relevant settings Experience of delivering evidence-based trauma informed therapeutic interventions with children and young people. Experience of conducting assessment, intervention and management of a range of presenting needs Partnership working supporting agreed placement objectives, care planning and progression including regular clinical reporting and routine outcome measures Essential: Registered with the relevant professional (e.g. HCPC, BACP) Experience of working as a qualified practitioner with children and young people Able to conduct clinical assessments and produce high quality reports Experience of supporting staff teams through training, consultation and/or reflective practice Experience of supervising/managing others Be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills In return we offer: Full support from a multidisciplinary team Regular clinical supervision CPD opportunities Internal/external training on new initiatives Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
