Band 3 Clinical Support Worker
Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will work as part of the Community Bladder and Bowel Specialist Service, delivering high‑quality, caring personal care and related duties under the direction of the Bladder and Bowel Nurse Specialist, and supporting the multidisciplinary team.
This role supports the registered professional in delivering safe, effective, compassionate patient care in the patient’s home, residential homes, or clinic rooms.
Responsibilities
* Carry out reassessments of patients in their own homes and residential care settings.
* Provide health promotion to patients and their carers/relatives whenever possible.
* Help prevent early admission to residential care due to poor continence management.
* Perform personal care tasks as delegated by the nurse specialist.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective care.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Health and Social Care NVQ3 (or equivalent).
* Experience in health and social care, ideally within a community continence service.
* Band 3 Clinical Support Worker competence and knowledge of bladder and bowel care.
* Full driving licence and ownership of a suitable vehicle for home visits.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a caring, person‑centred approach.
* Ability to work independently under the direction of a registered professional.
