Peripatetic Manager

Salary: £60,000 per Annum + Excellent PRP Bonus + Car Allowance
PSR Solutions are working in partnership with an award winning and well-respected care provider to recruit a dedicated and experienced Peripatetic Support Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with a passion for delivering high standards of care across a group of high-quality care homes.
Role:
The Support Manager will oversee or assist in the day-to-day running of various care homes within the organisation's portfolio. This is a mobile role, supporting multiple sites to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability, particularly with a focus on occupancy.
You will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to home managers and their teams, helping to foster a positive, inclusive, and person-centred care culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational and strategic support across multiple care homes, stepping in where needed to stabilise or enhance performance
Support with recruitment, induction, and training of home managers and key staff
Monitor and manage financial performance, including occupancy and budget adherence
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies
Uphold high standards of care and quality, responding to concerns and feedback proactivelySkills & Attributes:
Ideally NMC-registered, though this is not essential
Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare environment
Strong knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, and CQC regulations
Demonstrable experience in managing budgets and improving occupancy
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly, travel regularly, and adapt to changing environments
