Senior Pharmacy Technician, Band 5

PERMANENT Full time 36 hours per week (Part time hours will be considered)
We are seeking to recruit a senior pharmacy technician to join our dynamic and forward-thinking mental health and substance use team.
We are keen to hear from Pharmacy Technicians who:
1. Have experience and a genuine interest in working with people and their families and carers to support them with their mental health and substance use care and treatment.
2. Have an interest in working within multi-professional teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for individuals, and
3. Are interested in playing a role in developing new service models of pharmaceutical care delivery within a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team the post-holder will be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care for individuals within the Tayside to ensure that patients have the maximum benefit and minimal risk from their prescribed medication.
The role requires you to be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and to either hold a recognised accuracy checking qualification or be willing to work towards this.
There may be a requirement to contribute to working within the hospital setting, weekends and public holiday rotas as per service requirement.
