This role has a starting salary between £46,399 to £49,588 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to join our Learning Disability and Autism service in the West Surrey Team (based in Guildford). We need you to help us make a real difference to the local community, ensuring no one is left behind.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to work with complex cases to meet their desired outcomes. This includes legal court work, partnership working with health colleagues, completing Section 42 enquiries, and supervising junior team members to ensure high-quality service.

As a Senior Social Worker in Surrey, you will work across various projects to ensure our service users have the opportunity to enjoy a home of their own and live healthy, meaningful lives.
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered, your CV should clearly evidence:
* Substantial post-qualification professional experience as a Social Worker, including providing supervision.
* Understanding and experience of a strengths-based approach.
* Knowledge of current legislation such as The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act.
* Experience undertaking safeguarding enquiries and using professional judgement in complex situations.
Surrey has urban and rural areas; locality-based social care workers must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, and be willing to travel across a wide area. Reasonable adjustments will be made for applicants with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
