We are working with an established M&E engineering company seeking a Building Services Estimator to join its preconstruction team. The role involves preparing accurate mechanical and electrical cost estimates for major projects across rail, commercial and industrial sectors.
This position offers involvement in technically challenging work within a stable and well regarded business delivering projects across the UK.
The Role
* Prepare detailed and competitive mechanical and electrical estimates
* Produce accurate take offs and cost plans from tender documentation
* Manage supply chain enquiries and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Identify commercial risks and opportunities within tender submissions
* Support tender strategy and attend settlement meetings
* Maintain estimating data and contribute to process improvement
Requirements
* Experience as an M&E or Building Services Estimator
* Experience reviewing and analysing subcontractor pricing
* Strong M&E Knowledge
* Experience working on either rail, commerical or industrial based projects.
