Lettings Manager Location: Chelmsford Salary: Up to £30,000 per Annum with OTE £55,000-£60,000 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Lettings Manager to lead our Chelmsford lettings department. You will be responsible for growing market share, driving new instructions, maximising rental income, and ensuring an exceptional level of service for both landlords and tenants. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the lettings process from valuation to tenancy start. • Conduct market appraisals and win new business through proactive prospecting. • Manage and motivate the lettings team to achieve and exceed targets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, ensuring repeat and referral business. • Ensure compliance with all lettings legislation and industry best practice. • Implement marketing strategies to generate leads and promote available properties. • Monitor local market trends to maintain a competitive edge. Experience & Skills Required • Proven track record as a Lettings Manager or Senior Lettings Negotiator with at least 3 years’ experience in residential lettings. • Strong business development and valuation skills. • Excellent leadership and team management ability. • Confident negotiator with exceptional communication skills. • In-depth knowledge of lettings legislation and the Chelmsford/Essex rental market. • Target-driven, self-motivated, and highly organised.
