Lead a specialist dementia inpatient ward and play a key role in shaping high-quality care for older adults living with dementia.
We are recruiting a Band 7 Ward Manager to lead Rosemary Ward, part of the Forget Me Not Unit in Worthing – West Sussex's specialist inpatient service for people living with dementia.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse looking to take the next step in leadership or bring their existing management experience into a highly specialist and rewarding environment.

The role
As Ward Manager, you'll provide leadership and operational oversight for Rosemary Ward, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care.
You will:
* Lead and manage a multidisciplinary ward team
* Promote a positive, supportive and psychologically safe culture
* Support staff performance, wellbeing and development
* Ensure high standards of clinical care and professional practice
* Oversee quality, governance and risk management
* Manage staffing, resources and budgets effectively
* Drive continuous improvement and service development
* Act as a visible and approachable leader for patients, families and staff
* Work closely with the wider Forget Me Not Unit leadership team

About the service
The Forget Me Not Unit is the specialist inpatient dementia service for West Sussex.
The service provides assessment, treatment and support for people living with dementia who require inpatient mental health care.
