We are recruiting a Fundraising Manager to support our work in Kent as part of British Heart Foundation (BHF) fundraising, with ambitious growth plans for community fundraising and regional partnerships. Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and steward supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high-value prospects.
* Understand supporter motivations, identify opportunities to inspire engagement, and help supporters achieve fundraising goals.
* Identify and steward corporate prospects using a pipeline process to apply for and convert opportunities.
* Be proactive in the Kent region to identify fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the Charity.
* Manage supporters effectively using the CRM system (OneCRM) to provide excellent stewardship.
* Meet agreed financial targets, provide monthly financial progress reports, and implement mitigation plans for shortfalls.
* Promote BHF activities and campaigns to raise awareness and drive income.
About the Role
Across your geographic area of Kent, including some London Boroughs, identify, develop, and steward supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high-value prospects. Understand supporter motivations and identify opportunities across the Charity to engage supporters and help them achieve fundraising goals.
Working arrangements
* This is a Fixed Term Contract until Nov 2026 covering family leave.
* Role covers a wide area across Kent, including Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone, Thanet, Ashford, Maidstone, Medway, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, and nearby rural/coastal communities. You will need to live in Kent or relocate to the region.
* Regular travel within the area, and occasional travel to other parts of the UK.
* Full UK driving licence at the time of application with access to your own vehicle.
* Flexible out-of-hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity, with time off in lieu.
