We're actively seeking a Restaurant & Bar Supervisor for the Hillfield here at Pennyhill Park who will take responsibility for the smooth running of the department alongside the Restaurant Manager. You will work as part of a team to constantly evaluate, train, and improve the guest experience.
Your organizational skills will be valuable working within a large team, being operationally responsible for the Hillfield Restaurant. Our beautiful location and grounds in the Surrey countryside provide a wonderful environment to work in. We offer our guests the best experience, from early morning breakfast, a buffet at lunch, to delicious à la carte options at dinner.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of our successful Restaurant & Bar Supervisor will include:
* Supervising, coordinating, and participating in the activities of all restaurant team members to maintain standards and deliver outstanding customer service.
* Assisting in training team members, conducting meetings, and briefings to uphold standards.
* Helping communicate relevant information within the restaurant and with other departments.
* Promoting upselling within the team.
* Assisting in managing all restaurant shifts, ensuring standards are met.
* Attending to guest requests and feedback regarding food and beverages.
* Handling and recording guest complaints and significant activities during shifts, and informing the Restaurant or Duty Manager.
* Ensuring monthly stock takes for crockery and china.
* Monitoring weekly and monthly restaurant cleaning routines.
* Conducting shift briefings at the start of each shift.
* Printing and communicating daily function sheets among the team.
* Maintaining the point of sale system and notifying relevant managers of updates or issues.
* Preparing requisitions for supplies and materials as needed.
Ideal Candidate

* Have previous experience as a Chef de Rang or Supervisor in a similar setting.
* Be highly organized.
* Have strong knowledge of food, wines, and cheeses.
* Be capable of supervising team members to ensure consistent service quality.
