Stanley Primary School, located in Blackpool, is a vibrant and inclusive primary school serving approximately 600 pupils aged 4 to 11. As part of the Synergy Education Trust, we are committed to providing a high-quality education in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our school has consistently been rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection in November 2023 highlighting our strong curriculum, exemplary pupil behaviour, and effective safeguarding practices.
Stanley Primary School is seeking an organised, professional, and efficient Office Administrator to join our supportive school team from September 2025.
This is a key role within a friendly office team. We’re looking for someone who will bring strong skills and a warm, team-focused approach. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and children, so approachability, calmness, and confidence under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle general clerical tasks such as data entry, word processing, record-keeping, and liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies.
* Be the first point of contact for telephone and face-to-face enquiries, including managing pupil welfare and visitor sign-ins.
* Support school events, visits, and ordering supplies.
* Assist with financial tasks including processing orders, collecting money, and basic bookkeeping.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding practices.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in office administration (ideally in a school setting).
* Strong communication and IT skills (especially Microsoft Office and school MIS systems).
* A calm, organised, and flexible approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
* A team player who is motivated, approachable, and capable of working independently.
At Stanley, we are proud to be part of Synergy Education Trust – a supportive community that values wellbeing, development, and teamwork. You’ll join a vibrant and caring team in a school that prides itself on its ‘Stanley Family’ ethos and SMARTER values.
The post holder will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance. Please note that, in line with KCSIE, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
