Project Manager

Inside IR35

Up to £580 per day

6 month contract

Remote first with occasional travel to London for business critical needs


Our client is entering a significant period of transformation and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic, organisational and operational change. This role sits within the Strategic Change function and will play a key part in shaping and executing high impact initiatives across the business.


We are looking for a well rounded Project Manager with strong senior stakeholder management skills and a proven track record in retail. Experience delivering property related projects is essential, including office moves, site relocations, store expansions or similar time boxed property initiatives. Candidates with a purely technology background will not be the right match unless they also bring demonstrable strategic delivery experience.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the delivery of a complex strategic, organisational or operational project.
* Operate at a mid senior level with the ability to set priorities and work independently within established frameworks.
* Scope and plan projects including business case definition and resourcing.
* Oversee all stages from concept and design through to delivery in partnership with functional teams.
* Own core deliverables including the plan, budget and methodology for achieving project objectives.
* Establish a governance framework that provides effective oversight and control.
* Partner with functional stakeholders to design, plan and implement required changes.
* Manage project reporting, risks, issues and dependencies in line with the wider change plan.
* Build strong relationships with project sponsors and senior stakeholders to ensure shared accountability for outcomes.
* Drive complex change using robust project management best practices.
* Lead stakeholder engagement and project communications across the business.
* Work cross functionally to deliver agreed outcomes.
* Operate effectively in a fast paced environment while navigating ambiguity.
