Pay: £25,000 – £35,000 per year
Job Description:
Due to continued company growth, a job opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join one of South Wales’s leading Civil Engineering Companies, who specialise in the construction of Wind Farm’s, Sub Stations, and Solar Farm’s – on a permanent basis. This role will play an important part in helping the organisation enhance its procurement and logistics capabilities and management of suppliers.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Contacting and connecting local and nationwide suppliers within the construction industry, obtaining quotations and lead times
* Placing of purchase orders
* Identifying potential new suppliers and products
* Ensuring compliance with company IMS system
* General management and admin of purchasing documentation
Essential Skills
* Experience in buying within the construction/ civil engineering industry
* Excellent IT skills Microsoft Excel/ Word etc
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Effective communication and team working skills
* Knowledge of construction industry
* Knowledge of infrastructure and energy works i.e; Sub Stations, Wind Farms, Solar Farms

* Working hours Monday to Friday 08.00am to 17.00pm
