The Opportunity

As a Senior Mainframe Consultant, you'll work on large-scale, fast-track infrastructure projects that deliver measurable value to prestigious clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a trusted advisor leading highly complex, multi-disciplinary consulting engagements from conception to delivery
* Define sourcing strategies and select providers that align with customer IT and automation strategies
* Conduct comprehensive ROI and business case analyses, prioritising use cases based on business impact
* Develop strategic future state visions and roadmaps that revolutionise infrastructure and network requirements to meet evolving IT and business needs
* Capture, prioritise, and analyse both functional and non-functional technical requirements, ensuring every solution aspect is meticulously crafted
* Act as a thought leader contributing to the evolution of intellectual capital assets and practice resource development
* Conduct readiness assessments and develop strategic approaches to optimise IT and cloud resource implementation
Technical Requirements
Essential Experience:
* Sales and consulting knowledge
* Experience as a Cloud Architect / Specialist AI Architect / Specialist or similar
* ITIL expertise and certifications
* Subject matter expertise in at least one platform (cloud computing, cloud hyperscaler, X86, mainframe, midrange)
* Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum construct to identify inefficiencies through readiness assessments
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Experience:
* TOGAF expertise and certifications
* Experience with various IT Operating Models and building organisations to deploy and support key technologies
* Advanced certification on key technologies within your platform or area of expertise
* Ability to articulate key technologies' impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, etc.
* Experience in Agile (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum)
