Managing Director for our Safran Aerosystems Services UK MRO shop, responsible for overseeing all aspects (around 90 employees) of a legal entity.
Reporting to the EMEA Region General Manager, you are responsible for the UK site of Safran Aerosystems.
Objectives and Missions:
* Ensure Safety for employees and products
* Ensure Quality and Compliance with Airworthiness regulations (Part 145, etc.)
* Achieve Industrial and Financial performance targets
* Represent Safran Aerosystems management to Customers
* Develop aftermarket business in UK & Northern Europe
* Drive site activities through processes and routines (S&OP, Performance Reviews, Financial reporting, QRQC)
Main Activities:
* Build site vision and strategy, translate into operational and financial objectives
* Lead organizational and team changes
* Maintain effective communication across the site
* Promote Safran Together leadership model
* Own P&L and report to the Board
Safety, Quality & Airworthiness:
* Ensure safety of employees and products
* Maintain compliance with Airworthiness standards (Part 145)
* Implement HSE standards and culture
* Ensure legal and ethical compliance
Industrial Operations:
* Manage S&OP processes and industrial decisions
* Monitor production performance
* Optimize supply chain activities
* Implement Operational Excellence initiatives
Customer Satisfaction & Business Development:
* Strengthen customer relationships and satisfaction
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
Additional Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Budget, cost control, profitability, P&L responsibility
* Business Development: Participate in sales and marketing strategies
* Stakeholder Relations: Manage relations with suppliers, customers, authorities
Job Requirements:
Technical Skills:
* Customer-centric mindset
* Advanced aerospace airworthiness knowledge (Part 145, Part 21)
* Industrial background in production and supply chain with ERP/MRP
* Experience in Lean methodologies (Kaizen, DMAIC)
* Financial management understanding
Managerial Skills:
* Leadership and team management

* Problem-solving skills
* Organized and proactive
* Ability to work under pressure
* Fluent in English
