Flexible 1:1 teaching role supporting learners with SEN
We’re seeking a skilled and supportive SEN Tutor to work with children and young people across Hereford. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about personalised education and experienced in helping learners with a wide range of Special Educational Needs.
About the Role
* Deliver 1:1 tuition to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, PDA, and other learning differences
* Teach in the student’s home, a local school, or another suitable venue
* Complete initial assessments and build a tailored scheme of work
* Provide well-structured, engaging sessions that support progress and confidence
* Maintain clear records and communicate effectively with families and professionals
What You’ll Need
* QTS or at least 3 years’ teaching/tutoring experience
* Strong experience supporting students with diverse SEN profiles
* Ability to assess, plan, and deliver personalised learning
* A kind, patient, and positive approach to building learner relationships
* Willingness to travel within the Hereford area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
