We are seeking a highly motivated qualified ACP to lead and develop our team of Advanced Practitioners within the Emergency Department and Acute Medicine at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable clinical portfolio, evidence of senior clinical skills, and experience in service design and delivery. They must have completed a full MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and be willing to complete Royal College of Emergency Medicine credentialing.
Main duties of the job
* Line management of ACP Teams, including appraisals and support panels.
* Leadership and strategic development across Emergency Department and Acute Medicine, including engagement with Higher Education Institutes.
* Understanding of advanced practice apprenticeships and involvement in service development focusing on patient safety, experience, and efficiency.
* Engagement with Trust Professional Lead ACP and participation in the Countywide Faculty for Enhanced and Advanced Practice.

Qualifications and experience
Essential: NMC or HCPC registration, MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, non-medical prescriber, evidence of CPD, teaching qualification, ALS provider/instructor, clinical portfolio at senior MG level, leadership qualification, and significant experience in emergency/urgent care at senior ACP level.
Desirable: Additional certifications such as APLS, ATLS, IRMER training, and a PhD or willingness to undertake one.
