We work on behalf of a fantastic special school based in the Newbury area that is looking for either full-time or part-time Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join the team for an immediate start. The school supports students with a range of special needs, primarily focusing on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The school has a lovely team, and several TAs currently supporting there absolutely love it. The work can be challenging but is also incredibly rewarding!
The role
The TA role involves supporting the class teacher with various responsibilities. Being proactive is essential, as students may not always ask for help, so you must find ways to assist where you can.
Experience working with SEMH students is preferred, but the school welcomes applications from a range of backgrounds.
