Job Description
* Deliver a first-class service as a Utility Surveyor, prioritizing safety and using your technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and quantify work required to maintain contract safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.
* Operate within our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division, serving across the Midlands and South East from our Ledbury and Hermitage offices, managing long-term strategic contracts.
* Understand relevant industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
* Conduct site-specific risk assessments and establish robust emergency procedures.
* Prepare work packs aligned with contract specifications for operational arborists.
* Liaise with private landowners and stakeholders to gain necessary consents.
* Identify and understand safety zones and associated dangers.
* Ensure safety for yourself and others on site.
* Coach and mentor junior team members.
* Collaborate with the wider team to track and complete work according to client requirements.
* Work autonomously with a professional manner, always focused on delivering quality service.
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ arboriculture experience.
* Hold UA1, UA2.1, and UA5 certifications.
* Additional competencies are advantageous.
