Purchase Ledger Assistant – Immediate Start (Contract until Jan 2026)
Hybrid – Remote with 1 day per week in Stoke-on-Trent office

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a fantastic finance team with a positive, collaborative culture. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where your input really matters.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes, and managing purchase orders
2. Maintaining supplier accounts and handling payments
3. Assisting with expenses, credit card reconciliations, and AP reporting
4. Supporting month-end journals and audits
5. Actively improving processes and contributing to projects
What we’re looking for:
1. Strong attention to detail and deadline focus
2. Good communication skills and team spirit
3. Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable
4. SAP knowledge and/or AAT qualification desirable (not essential)
