We are a family-based business and operate a cutting plant with a reputation for supplying high quality poultry and red meat products. We currently serve a wide range of highly reputable businesses in the food & hospitality industry from wholesale, retail to the restaurant and catering industry.
Situated with a large catchment area in Bradford, we have seen a structured and gradual growth in our business over the years. Recently due to a rapid growth in our blue chip and corporate sector, the business is seeking to retain the services of additional butchers with experience in Halal butchery/ deboning and processing to facilitate the growth of our business.
We will provide all necessary training according to legislation.
Salary £27,000 up to £33,000
Type: Permanent Full Time 37.5 Hours per week
* Must have experience in poultry butchery.
* Sufficient knowledge and experience within the industry especially poultry.
* The ability to deskin, process and cut poultry carcases on a systematic line or at least be in a position of a quick learner.
* The ability to portion general poultry products according to business/customer requirements.
* Must be able to fully de bone poultry legs.
* Must be able to dice primals like chicken fillet & leg meat to a high standard and according to customer requirements.
* Must be able to carry out trimming to a high standard.
* Must be able to clean their tools and work surfaces.
* Must be hard working and punctual
* We will not tolerate a mediocre attendance record.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Be self-motivated.
* Correct application to all aspects of work must be to a high standard at all times.
