HGV Class 1 Drivers - £16.25 per hour Days
HGV Class 2 Drivers - £14.50 Per hour Days
6-7am Start times.
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
We are looking for HGV Class 1 HGV drivers to start immediately for our client based in Preston and HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Leyland.
Shifts can include, trunking parcels for Amazon, DX and Menzies as well as Boots/Walmart.
Also, we are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for day shifts for the same clients
As a HGV Driver we require you to have
A Class 1/C+E or a Class 2 /C driving License
A Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
Less than 8 points on your licence
Responsibility to look after your vehicle.
Minimum 6 months experience is important.
HGV Driver Duties include:
Trunking from depot to depot, some pick ups and collections and the delivery of goods to commercial warehouses.
Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours
The successful HGV Drivers can expect:
Monday-Friday: £16.25 PAYE Per Hour for Class 1 Drivers and £14.50 per hour for Class 2 Drivers
Weekend enhancements available
Weekly Pay, paid on time every time.
8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day
Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
