The Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Receptionist within the Public Dental Team based at Balfour Dental Clinic. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the dental team contributing to the day-to-day running of the dental department by providing reception and administration support within the Public Dental Service.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate will be the first point of contact to patients, it is essential that they have excellent communication skills, be computer literate and maintain confidentiality at all times. Candidates are also expected to possess a SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in business and administration, customer care service or two years equivalent experience in a role of that nature.

This post will be based at The Balfour
The successful candidate will work: Full Time 37 hours per week
This post is Permanent
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.

The salary for this post is Band 3 £28,011 - £30,230 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,654 pro rata per annum, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
