Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and progress in accordance with established care plans.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping.
* A valid driving licence is an advantage for transporting clients.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
