Temporary Job Opportunity: POD Clerk – Transport Department
Location: Corby
Employment Type: Temporary (2–4 weeks)
Reporting To: Transport Manager
We're recruiting a POD Clerk on a temporary basis (2–4 weeks) to support a busy transport team in Corby. If you're organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating across teams, this short-term opportunity could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
* Retrieve PODs from internal depots and external subcontractors
* Respond to delivery queries promptly and professionally
* Maintain accurate records to support finance with PO creation
* Assist with customer and supplier complaints from investigation to resolution
* Provide general administrative support to the transport team
* Collaborate with management to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
* Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Previous experience in administration or logistics support
* Excellent attention to detail and numeric accuracy
* Clear and courteous communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
