Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.
The Quality Engineer will ensure that products and processes meet strict aerospace standards and customer requirements. They will play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving quality systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills together with effective communication skills are an essential part of the role. The employee will willingly undertake, upon request, any other task they are able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards (e.g.AS9100).
· Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
· Perform internal and external audits.
· Review engineering specifications and manufacturing processes for quality compliance.
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
· Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
· Support customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 8D, FMEA.
Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
· Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.
· Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, PPAP, CAPA).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
· Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
· Ability to manage and prioritise workloads in high-pressure environments.
· Collaborative and capable of motivating cross-functional teams.
· Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic.
· Certification in Lean Six Sigma or CQE (Certified Quality Engineer).(Desirable)
· Experience with aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.(Desirable)
· Familiarity with tools like Minitab, ERP, QMS systems.(Desirable)
Package on offer
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 BH
Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
