We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our team. This role is not for beginners - you'll need to bring proven, hands-on credit control experience and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the role.
What you'll be doing:
Proactively managing and collecting outstanding debts from clients.
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage timely payments and maintain trust.
Taking ownership of the credit control process, spotting potential issues early, and acting fast to resolve them.
Keeping precise and up-to-date credit control records.
Collaborating closely with the finance team to ensure healthy cash flow.
What we're looking for:
✅ Proven experience as a Credit Controller - you'll need to show clear evidence of this at interview.
✅ Excellent communication skills - professional, polite, and firm when required.
✅ Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
✅ Confidence in using finance systems and Excel.
✅ Meticulous organisation and attention to detail.
