EPLAN Design Engineer
Location: Near Stowmarket, Suffolk
Salary: £43,000–£55,000 + Benefits & Bonus

My client seeks an EPLAN Design Engineer to take a key role in developing electrical schematics, control panels and wiring systems using EPLAN Pro Panel. This role offers technical variety, hands-on collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation.
What you’ll do
* Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts & wiring diagrams in EPLAN Pro Panel
* Produce project documentation (BOMs, cable schedules, terminal plans)
* Work closely with project managers & cross-functional teams
* Support manufacturing with technical input & design queries
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC/UL/EN)
* Participate in design reviews & improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
* Proven EPLAN design experience (Pro Panel preferred)
* Strong understanding of electrical systems & industrial automation
* Ability to interpret standards & apply best practice
* Strong problem-solving mindset & high attention to detail
* Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
