Job Title: CT Engineer\n\nLocation: London – North Circular \n\nPay Range/details: £45,000 per annum + bonus \n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nOmega are supporting a fast-growing technology-based business in their search for a CT Engineer across London. The metering tasks for the Metering Engineer includes those of a complex technical nature to time, cost and quality targets to satisfy business and customer service requirements and provide technical support to the team.\n\nKey Responsibilities – CT Engineer\n\nInstall, maintain, remove and replace all types of LVCT metering equipment.\nCommission all types of metering equipment.\nTest and verify all LV metering equipment.\nOperate the LV system for associated metering activities in accordance with procedures.\nUndertake complex tests and inspections on installations.\nUndertake remote testing of metering equipment\nInvestigate high consumption complaints and resolve queries with customers.\nInvestigate dangerous occurrences and resolve customer problems.\nWork on non-standard and other Distribution Business’ equipment.\nCarry out work on installations.\nCheck and inspect work undertaken by the team for quality and safety standards.\nOrganise people and co-ordinate resources and supplies.\nCoach and guide other staff including instructions to colleagues in completing tasks.\nPlan and schedule work and make quotations on site to customers.\nProvide technical explanation to the team and customers.\n\nQualifications & Requirements – CT Engineer\n\nTrained, authorised and experienced in single and three phase meter installation and LVCT metering.\nHold relevant Comcop authorisations.\nHold DNO metering authorisations where applicable.\nExperience in Half Hourly, AMR and SMETS metering would be advantage.\nPrepared to travel and work away from home on occasions.\nCity & Guilds full certificate (232 level or appropriate NVQ).\nIEE wiring regulations knowledge.\nPersonal computer skills.\n\nWhat we can offer – CT Engineer \n\nCompany Vehicle\nUp to 8% matched pension contribution.\nPrivate Medical Insurance.\nCompany Bonuses.\nEV Car Scheme.\n25 days annual leave increasing with longevity.\nCompany social events.\n\nFor more information on this role, please contact Michael Farrell on (phone number removed) or send a copy of your CV to \n\nCandidates who are currently a CT Engineer, Metering Engineer, LV Metering Specialist, LVCT Engineer, Metering and Installation Engineer, Metering and Test Engineer or a Metering Services Coordinator may be suitable for this position.\n\nFor details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website (url removed)\n\nOmega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors
