Lunchtime Supervisor Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) – Start Date ASAP – March/June 26 Monday – Friday, 6.25hrs per week, Term-time only Grade 2, SCP 3 PRORATA FTE Salary £23,656 This important role plays a key part in supporting the well-being and daily experience of pupils at Charnwood Primary Academy during the lunchtime period. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help ensure all children are safe, happy, and engaged, contributing positively to their school day and helping to improve their life outcomes. We are looking for someone who: Has a caring and inclusive approach when working with children from a range of backgrounds, including those who are vulnerable, have SEND, are eligible for Pupil Premium, are Looked After Children (LAC), or speak English as an Additional Language (EAL). Can supervise and support children during lunchtimes both in the dining hall and playground, encouraging healthy eating and positive social interaction. Promotes good behaviour and manages incidents in line with the school’s policies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. Works as part of a team to ensure that lunchtime routines run smoothly and efficiently. Is observant and proactive in identifying and responding to children’s needs during unstructured times. Communicates effectively with pupils and staff to support a positive lunchtime experience for all. Shows a willingness to support the wider school community and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment.
