Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Devizes, Wiltshire for a qualified Accountant with some experience of managing a client portfolio. Responsibilities will include building & managing client relationships, providing advisory services and preparing/reviewing accounts & tax for individuals, SMEs, and Social Enterprise clients. You will support tax planning, manage assurance reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Alongside the client focused-work, you will provide support for fellow team members and work within the team to help develop and improve workflows and processes.
Qualifications
* Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (or be able to demonstrate a clear track record to underpin being QBE)
* Strong skills in Accounts Preparation, Tax Compliance, and Financial Analysis
* Proficiency in managing and advising a client portfolio with a personal client-focused approach
* Experience with financial software tools and digital accounting systems
* Curiosity and interest in using AI to support your decision making processes
* Leadership and mentoring skills for managing team workflows and development
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
* Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
* Able to commute to Devizes to be part of the team
