About the Role
We’re looking for compassionate, reflective, and resilient individuals to join Dimensions Care as Care Practitioners at one of our residential children’s homes. In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating a nurturing and structured environment where young people feel safe, supported, and able to grow.
You’ll work on a consistent 2 on / 4 off shift pattern, including sleep-ins, designed to offer stability for you and the children we support.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Minimum 2 years experience in a residential childcare setting
Preferred:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working within therapeutic or trauma-informed care settings
Our Approach
Dimensions Care is actively working towards accreditation in DDP (Dyadic Developmental Practice) – a therapeutic model that underpins how we care for and connect with the young people in our homes. All of our team members receive the necessary training and support to embed this approach in day-to-day practice.

Main Responsibilities
* Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young people at all times
* Carry out ongoing, day-to-day assessment of each child’s needs
* Lead or support shifts, including planning activities and maintaining health and safety
* Promote routines, boundaries, and positive behaviour through consistent care
* Support with internal audits and regulatory visits
* Work in accordance with Children’s Homes Regulations and other statutory guidance
* Ensure effective service delivery in line with company policies and values
