Your Mission 💪
As a Pre-Sales Network & Security Solution Architect, you’ll blend advanced networking and security expertise with commercial awareness to create robust, modern solutions for boxxe’s customers. You’ll craft high and low level designs, respond to RFPs, and deliver dynamic presentations. Familiarity with key vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.) and security frameworks is essential, as is exposure to cloud-based security platforms. You’ll also advise on pricing, represent boxxe at events, and ensure security measures are always in the right place.
What you’ll be doing 🎯
* Delivering high-quality pre-sales on network and security solutions such as next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, network access control, threat detection and prevention
* Attending customer meetings to gather business and technical requirements before producing solution proposals
* Collaborating with Professional Services teams and third-party partners to refine solution designs
* Building and maintaining strong technical relationships with new and existing customers
* Creating and delivering technical presentations for both technical and non technical audiences
* Developing solution proposals within agreed timelines
* Delivering Proofs of Concept to demonstrate the value of chosen technologies
* Working with delivery consultants to ensure accurate scoping of services
* Contributing to new service offerings and refining existing ones
* Supporting the tender team with timely responses
* Conducting workshops, network reviews, and security assessments
* Producing documentation for handover to internal teams and client stakeholders
What experience we think you’ll need 🚀
* 5+ years in a pre-sales capacity designing network and security solutions
* Knowledge of key networking and security vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos, Microsoft Defender/Sentinel, Cisco and HPe Aruba
* Familiarity with cloud security platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments
* Exposure to network segmentation, zero trust architectures, and SASE frameworks
* Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
* Proven ability to translate customer requirements into clear designs
* Experience with proposal writing and responding to RFPs
* Willingness to stay current with emerging security technologies and threats
* Flexibility to travel throughout the UK when needed
