Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum
Location: Milbrook Business Centre, Floats Road, Manchester, M23 9YJ
Contract: Full-time, on-site

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the business and support continued growth. Reporting directly to the CEO and Finance Director, this role is central to ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and effective team management.
Client service sits at the heart of the role, with a particular focus on supporting high-net-worth and premium travellers. Experience in the travel, aviation, logistics, or related service industries would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and support the operations and administrative team.
* Ensure consistently high standards of customer service for premium and VIP clients.
* Oversee daily operational activity to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
* Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and ways of working.
* Act as a point of escalation for client enquiries and service issues, handling these professionally and calmly.
* Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, and operational cover.
* Work closely with the software developer to ensure the booking system is kept up to date, including pricing changes and enhancements.
* Coordinate across functions to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and support team development.
About You
You will be a hands-on operations professional who is comfortable working in a small business environment and taking ownership of outcomes.
Essential experience and skills:
* Proven experience managing and supervising teams.
* Background in operations, logistics, travel, or service-led environments.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with strong phone and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
* Solid administrative and office management capability.
* Working knowledge of HR processes and people management.
* Experience using Xero or similar accounting/finance systems.
