Job Description
Hays Education is recruiting experienced Supply Teaching Assistants to work on a temporary basis across a range of primary schools. This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who are flexible, reliable, and confident supporting children across different classroom environments.Assignments can range from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, depending on school needs and your availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Working with individuals or small groups under the direction of the class teacher
* Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
* Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools
* A Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential
* Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
